FAQ

What devices are supported?

DORILOG runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 15.6 or later.

What GPS devices are supported?

Currently, the following devices are supported:

The dedicated doripod unit is planned for release in 2027.

Can I see what the data looks like without any hardware?

Yes. DORILOG includes data from a real run. You can play it back to see how the line and drift angle look without a GPS logger or doripod. Recording your own runs requires a supported GPS logger or doripod.

Where is my driving data stored?

Runs recorded with a GPS logger are stored on the iPhone or iPad you recorded them with.

With doripod, your driving is recorded to the microSD card in the unit first. The sections you download in DORILOG are stored on your iPhone or iPad.

You can manage the data on your device in the app or in the iOS Files app.

What does MARK do on doripod?

MARK places a marker in doripod’s recording. It doesn’t start or stop recording. Tap it on DORILOG’s recording screen whenever you like, such as when you head out or finish a run.

When you download later, you can choose the section between two MARKs. Even without MARKs, you can download the whole recording.

When does doripod record?

doripod starts up automatically when it gets power, and begins recording to microSD once it picks up GPS and sets its clock.

While DORILOG is listing or downloading recordings, doripod pauses recording. It resumes automatically when DORILOG disconnects after the download, or after a short period with no activity.

When the microSD card is full, the oldest recordings are overwritten first. Download any runs you want to keep to DORILOG soon after your session.

The tire colors don’t show up

During replay, the four tires on the car icon are shaded to show the trend of weight transfer, based on longitudinal and lateral G. (It isn’t a direct measurement of each tire’s load.)

If the colors don’t appear, check that “Show Tire Load” is turned on in DORILOG’s settings. Runs saved in the older recording format don’t show this view.
